After Breast Cancer Diagnosis ABCD is a one-to-one personalized mentoring service that provides women with emotional support from survivors during their breast cancer journey now.

Break Away From Cancer  Breakaway from Cancer represents a partnership between Amgen and four nonprofit organizations dedicated to empowering patients with education, resources and hope, wherever they may be in the cancer care continuum.

Cancer101  CANCER101′s mission is to empower cancer patients and their caregivers to take control over their diagnoses and engage them as active partners in their care, by arming them with a toolkit to navigate their cancer journey.

Cancer Care, Inc.  CancerCare provides free services for anyone affected by cancer. Their services include: counseling, support groups, educational workshops, publications, financial assistance and community programs.

Cancer Hope Network is a national nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one emotional support to cancer patients, their caregivers and their family members. Cancer Hope Network matches cancer patients or family members with trained volunteer cancer survivors who themselves have undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience.

Cancer Schmancer Movement  Cancer Schmancer works to empower women to become medical consumers; to listen to our bodies, ask the right questions of our doctors and seek second opinions, we can prevent cancer and, if we still end up with it, detect cancer in its earliest stages.

Cancer Support Center  The CSC provides FREE comprehensive resources that help anyone affected by cancer (the person with cancer, loved ones, friends and bereaved of all ages) improve their quality of life during the cancer experience.

Cancer Support Community  In July 2009, The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club Worldwide joined forces to become the Cancer Support Community. The CSC provides such services as support groups, counseling, education and healthy lifestyle programs through 50 local affiliates, 100 satellite locations and online.

Cancer Wellness Center  This is a non-profit organization that provides supportive services and health information free of charge for people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones.

Carol’s Cause  Carol’s Cause is a not-for-profit organization that provides monetary grants to medical professionals who continue their education in gynecologic oncology.

CCare Lynch Syndrome  Lynch syndrome is a genetic disease that dramatically increases the risk of cancer, especially colon and uterine cancers. Through education, CCare aims to increase the awareness of Lynch Syndrome, identify affected individuals, and help diagnose cancers at their earliest possible stage.

Claudia Cohen Research Foundation  The Claudia Cohen Research Foundation is dedicated exclusively to support research leading to the immunological treatment, control, and prevention of gynecologic cancer with a special emphasis on gynecologic sarcoma.

Centers for Disease Control’s Inside Knowledge: Get the Facts About Gynecologic Cancer  This campaign raises awareness of the five main types of gynecologic cancer: cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar. It encourages women to pay attention to their bodies and know what is normal for them, so they can recognize the warning signs of gynecologic cancers and seek medical care.

Childhood Gynecologic Cancer Association  The Childhood Gynecologic Cancer Association is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a forum on childhood gynecologic cancers for providers, patients and their families; to obtain current information for education and clinical trials; to develop a comprehensive referral resource center and registry; to advance research in childhood gynecologic cancers.

Conquer Cancer Foundation  Part of the Ameican Society of Clinical Oncology, the Conquer Cancer Foundation is committed to conquering cancer worldwide by funding breakthrough cancer research and sharing cutting-edge knowledge.

Dragon Fly Angel Society A one stop website location that pulls together survivorship resources and allows you to find what you need as you welcome yourself to cancer survivorship.

EyesOnThePrize.org  This is a web community created to provide information, shared experience, resources, support and company for women with gynecologic cancer.

Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered  FORCE is the only national nonprofit organization devoted to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Gilda Radner Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry  This is a national computer tracking system that stores data for women with two or more close relatives who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. They offer a hotline manned by cancer specialists to answer your questions about ovarian cancer and provide informational literature.

Granulosa Cell Tumour Foundation New Zealand  GCTF NZ was created to provide information about granulosa cell tumour of the ovary to both patients & the medical community; provide support services to survivors of GCT; raise awareness within medical, pharmaceutical and government agencies; and to search for, and/or solicit new research specifically focused on GCT and the development of new therapeutic treatments.

Gynecologic Oncology Group  GOG is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting excellence in the quality and integrity of clinical and basic scientific research in the field of Gynecologic malignancies.

Hope for Two  Hope for Two…The Pregnant with Cancer Network is a national non-profit organization for women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy. Our mission is to connect women who are pregnant with cancer with other women who have been pregnant with the same type of cancer.

HPV Hope HPV Hope seeks to improve lives by empowering individuals and communities with support, resources and education around HPV and HPV related cancers.

HysterSisters  Woman-to-woman hysterectomy support.

Lotsa Helping Hands  Lotsa Helping Hands connects people who need help with those who want to give it through an online “community.” Their website makes it easy for each person to know what to do and when.

The Lydia Project The Lydia Project provides free supportive services for women coping with any kind of cancer anywhere.  Services for every women include the receipt of a designer tote with encouraging contents (there is a small shipping fee); as well as monthly supportive outreach for one year.  Locally in the Augusta, GA area, The Lydia Project hosts a monthly support group for GYN Oncology patients.

Lynne Cohen Foundation  The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is dedicated to supporting and enabling collaborative, multi-institutional research combating ovarian cancer through prevention and early detection.

National Cervical Cancer Coalition  NCCC’s mission is to help women, family members and caregivers battle the personal issues related to cervical cancer and HPV and to advocate for cervical health in all women by promoting prevention through education about early vaccination, Pap testing and HPV testing when recommended.

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship  NCCS, founded by and for cancer survivors, advocates for quality cancer care for all people touched by cancer and provides tools that empower people to advocate for themselves.

National Comprehensive Care Network  The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®), a not-for-profit alliance of 21 of the world’s leading cancer centers, is dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer.

National Ovarian Cancer Coalition  Through national programs and local chapter initiatives, the NOCC’s goal is to make more people aware of the early symptoms of ovarian cancer. The NOCC provides information to assist the newly diagnosed patient, to provide hope to survivors, and to support caregivers.

Norma Livingston Foundation  We are committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer by raising awareness and promoting education about ovarian cancer. We also raise money through various events that help fund research.

Oncology Nursing Society Foundation  The ONS Foundation is a national public, non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable organization headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA and dedicated solely to oncology nurses from around the world.

Ovarian Cancer Canada: Cancer de l’Ovaire Canada Ovarian Cancer Canada is a registered Canadian charitable organization whose mission is to overcome ovarian cancer, providing leadership by: supporting women living with the disease and their families; raising awareness in the general public and with health care professionals; and funding research to develop early detection techniques, improved treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

Ovarian Cancer National Alliance  OCNA educates health care professionals and raises public awareness of the risks and symptoms of ovarian cancer. The organization advocates at a national level for increases in research funding for the development of an early detection test, improved health care.

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund  OCRF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research toward the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer. OCRF also seeks to support patients and their loved ones in understanding this disease and its treatment as well as to raise public awareness and provide educational information, including resource materials.

Patient Advocate Foundation  PAF is a non-profit organization which provides professional case management services to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses. PAF case managers serve as active liaisons between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters as they relate to their diagnosis also assisted by doctors and healthcare attorneys.

Project Hope for Ovarian Cancer Research and Education  Project Hope educates women and their families about their individual risk of ovarian cancer and the specific screening and risk-reducing measures appropriate for them. It supports research directed at early detection, prevention, and more.

Saint Louis Ovarian Cancer Association  St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness is committed to impacting ovarian cancer survivorship by promoting awareness of early warning signs and standard of care, funding ovarian cancer research, and supporting survivors.

Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation  The mission of the Sandy Rollman Foundation is to promote awareness of ovarian cancer by educating both women and physicians about the disease, to advocate for early diagnostic testing and more effective treatments and to raise funds to help advance research towards a cure.

Self-help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer  SHARE’s mission is to create and sustain a supportive network and community of women affected by breast or ovarian cancer. We provide telephone support, support groups, educational programs, and advocacy activities.

Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young women and their families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast cancer. Their mission is to offer a community of support to women diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk, by fostering culturally-relevant individualized connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources.

Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation ReKindle Hope for Vulvar Cancers  The Foundation’s mission is to provide information and emotional support to those touched with vulvar/neuroendocrine cell cancers, promote awareness and proactively seek and support research.

Walk With Sally  Walk With Sally is was created to help children dealing with emotional experience of living with or losing a parent or sibling to cancer. They offer free mentoring support programs and services that provide an emotionally safe environment for children to share their difficult experience with someone who has suffered the same.
